I was thinking, instead of having "always on" accessory lights, that incorporating a tilt switch could be useful. ie, lean right and right hand light goes on, while the left, which is pointing up stays off. I did some google-fu and found a few different type of switches, such as mercury switches and ball bearing activated. Fluid filled ones look very interesting.
I guess it would not be too hard to set up a switch in such a way that at a certain tilt or inclination the switch activates. Thoughts?
http://beta.globalspec.com/learnmore.../tilt_switches has good info.
I'm not a fan of aux. lights mounted on the fairings.
I wonder if two fog-type lights would fit in that access panel behind the windscreen. The windscreen would have to be notched, but it could be a cool instillation.
