24000 mile service done. (Not bad since the bike is less than 18 months old.) Added Throttlemeister cruise control and a Kuryakin battery guage so that I can use heated gear without worrying about if I am discharging my battery. I also added a Corbin Gunfighter and Lady saddle. I thought they positioned the bucket to far back and sent it back to have it reshaped and moved forward 3.5 inches. They were very accommodating. I also changed the head lights to PIAA's. Very bright and much nicer color than stock bulbs. And I added a set of Twisted Throttle Denali II LED's to the front forks. (1 is using the flood lens, the other is using the spot lens so I have good coverage and spill throughout the range. Oh ya... a new set of Michelin Road Pilot 3's. (If you are riding stock tires you should really consider these as an upgrade when you wear them out!) I also mounted a bluetooth enabled Garmin 220 GPS and got a set of Sena communicators with a pair of Shoei Neotec helmets. The Sena's are way better than the Chatterbox they replace. But possibly the best upgrade that I put on my 2011 Sprint GT is the Eaglescreen 680mm Ultratouring wind screen. Finally I am in quiet air! http://www.eaglescreens.com.au/wp-co...011/09/T30.pdf. I also ordered a new chain and gears and a set of front brake pads. Oh ya... Full set of Gerbins jacket and pants so I can ride through the North Carolina winter. Surely there is something else I need to buy.

I wouldn't own a bike without them now that my bike has them. I kind of wonder how I got along without them before.

Weather was excellent, and I had the time...
so I painted my front cockpit fairing piece and my right saddlebag.
I've been wanting to do these for a while, but either time or weather would not cooperate. They turned out really nice. Even a couple of gnats liked them

Last week I epoxied my broken rear turn signal stalks, but it only worked on one of 'em and the other has been flopping around ever since. Today I did a really ugly plastic welding job on it and put it back on. Looks much better, at least from five feet away.
Then I poured another pint of oil into the motor and rode off to a nice turkey dinner with friends.

Picked up My bike!
Daughter Dropped it at a gas station She was not hurt just one of those parking lot oops Picked up the bike no damage... How can this be? A few years ago I went down on a newly oiled road. The lower fairing looked like crap so I took it off and modified the upper faring to look like and RS. I then put on highway pegs using the unused holes from the lower fairing. The highway pegs and mounts saved the bike

Installed a Rick's MOSFET Rectifier/Regulator. Was that ever easy. The assembly came with both factory connectors. Plugged right in and bolted right on using the factory bracket and screws.
The instructions recommend a direct connection if your stator connector is burned, but both of my connectors looked like brand new.
This replacement was preventative. No charging issues but based upon all the hub bub on this site, I figured better to be safe than sorrily stranded.
