Well after suffering for 12 months I have finaly put a set of Pilot Road 3 on the GT. Now for the FUN.....

Salty you will especially enjoy them when it rains hard!

But they also run fantastic in the dry with nice quick steering and excellent grip.

Unlike the slow steering BT 021's you will find yourself turning in much more easily so take it steady until you adjust to the faster turn in as it is radically better.

Gave the GT fresh oil and filter,wash and a thorough clean,After our GP trip the poor girl really needed it,A few stats,travelled 7070 km,used 328lts fuel,spent $577 on fuel and averaged 4.83lts per 100km, fully loaded two up,The GT performed fantastic,what an awesome bike,on our return punched through the Nullabour in one hop 1090km in one day Ceduna to Balladonia. The GT really is a mile muncher,Superb.

That's it, the Sprint has gone into hibernation until the end of March, early April next year. These winters in Norway really kill motorcycling

Oil change , wash wax, heated gear harness installed, air pressure checked and added. Took for a ride, hit 109 mph on a nice sweeper (entrance ramp to highway). Hit rev limiter for the first time just to see what it feels like.

After getting some new Pilot R3's installed last Thursday, went for a ride on Saturday only to see a lovely big screw nicely wedged into the tyre when I was 75km from home. Left it where it was and rode home with it in place, it was pretty snug.

So today I had my brand new rear tyre repaired, after doing 150km on it. At least it held up long enough for me to get home and to a dealer rather than with a flat out on the motorway.

That's the last thing you want to see in your brand new tyre.
Last week I had a nail in mine but I didn't realise it until I went to ride it next and the tyre was flat. I needed a new rear anyway.
Good that you were able to make it home.

Brand new DID gold chain and sprockets, including a drop in the front to 18 teeth. Love the 18t over the OEM 19!!
