It's just a brush that I hold very lightly at the bottom of the chain! The few times that it got jerked out of my hand it just fell to the floor. I swear I'm not going to get sucked into the chain via a plastic brush.
I really can't imagine cleaning the chain without power, it takes me less than a minute once the wheel starts spinning to be done. Just don't stick your hand in and you'll be ok.
Also, if you like, I'll tape it for you

Hey, how 'bout that Endeavor launch!?
Cool how it lit up the cloud deck just before it punched through...

Ain't life interesting? Throughout the years, I've learned to do less and less on my bikes and learned to enjoy them as close as to how I bought it. Modding used to be all the fun, but now, it's just frustrating. Instructions are poor; results never match what the seller states, etc. I know, it sounds depressing, but it's just years of noting that I should leave well enough alone....tomp

Well this thread has wandered a bit from my original intent and I though I would just let it fade away. Then I saw this and thought, why not? It was a definite fit for this thread and worth a chuckle or two.
The poster said he did this to make room for additional connectors on his battery. After fessing up to his error (actually two errors since he did not stop with one post) he said he plugged the holes with epoxy putty.

WOW! That would have gotten interesting if it was mounted on its side!

Came across another one that fits into the "what were you thinking category"
The poster was very proud of himself as he explained how he relocated the R/R to lower its operating temperature.

I think the battery trimmer could be a Sherv acolyte.

You would think, considering the absurdity of some of the pics.
But the battery trimmer is real, and closer than you would imagine.
Poor Sherv is also real. Funny thing about him is that he is well aware of the reactions due to his "mods". He just does not accept the inanity of his efforts.
