Anyone have an aftermarket seat for the 05 ST? What's your opinion? I don't think the stock seat is that bad, but I'm considering one as even a little better will seem like a lot when it gets late on a long ride.

This doesn't help much but a word of warning. Rich's in Seattle did one for a local guy and he does not like it. Is it the seat or the owner? Don't know but just thought you might like to know.

Beyond that, Corbin has one that a couple guys have ordered but I don't know how well they like them. I'd say it would the the one to get IF you do much 2-up riding. The Gunfighter & Lady configuration with the back rest would be the ticket. However, I heard they may not fit with some of the Triumph luggage. And Triumph makes a gel seat but I haven't heard how they work on the 05 yet. Sorry I could be more help.

I bought the Corbin Gunfighter seat and love it. The only drawback to that model from Corbin; however, is that you can't mount the hard bags because those require the grab rail be installed. The grab rails won't work with that seat. As I said in another post, though, I knew that before I bought the seat, so I can't complain too much.

I got a Corbin made special - it is a Gunfighter saddle built on the Gunfighter and Lady base. It looks like the Gunfighter single saddle, but it allows me to use my bags. Much more comfortable than the stocker, which after an hour or so, was too soft for me. The Corbin is much firmer, and gives me greater support. However, as stated so many times before, saddles are a personal thing.

The corbins sound sweet, wish we had a local supplier in OZ. Does anyone have any pictures of them for the ST?

Can't find it at the moment, but Rob S. (?) posted pictures of his bike with the Corbin fitted and he still has the grab rail on his bike. This is what has pursuaded me to order one.
