This was posted this morning on another forum that Paul and I participate in. The power of prayer is truly great!

Eileen and I rode up to the Mary Hitchcock Hospital yesterday afternoon and dropped in on Paul and Kat. Kat is holding up well and is still trying to get Paul moved to Connecticut which will probably happen before too long as Paul is gaining every day. He's getting PT and is sitting up with help. His eyes are clear and his mind is as sharp as ever, but after 5 weeks in a coma, communication is difficult at best. Because of the throat tube he can't speak yet, so communication is limited to yes and no, unless you read lips.
And reading his lips and eyes, he was obviously sending his heart-felt thanks to you all for your support, thoughts and prayers.
He is definitely on the mend and it looks to us like he'll make a complete recovery.
Drag over a laptop with wireless and show him all this if you can! Or print some of these out to show him at the very least - the power of positive thinking and support does wonders!
<-- More positive thought senders!
