I'm sure this has been discussed, but I can't seem to find it...

I was in the shop today having the coolant hose recall done. The tech mentioned that I had a nice gravel/dirt collection on my engine from the rear tire throwing ***** on it. He then showed me the black shock cover they put on the new 06. Nice!

Can anyone confirm if this peice will just bolt onto my 05?

iTs standard only on abs models, but it will fit all no probs.

Good to know, unfortunately it seems my dealer doesn't have a parts listing for the '06 yet and it doesn't seem to be in the accessories catalog he has, so I'll have to wait just a little longer.

You get them on all ABS models so if he looks at the part list for an ABS bike he should be able to order one.

SHock cover? excellent, been trying to find someone who makes a rear hugger for my bike, but no luck.
