I was curious how many here are planning on attending? I didn't think I would be able to go(I broke my wrist in the middle of July), but now it looks like I can. Nothing like last minute planning........I seem to do the same at Christmas shopping too. I've never been there but was told it is a must do raid. So I guess in the next few days I need to get all the details worked out. See Ya, Rick

I'd love to go, but seeing how this bike is new to me, I'm thinking I'm better off learning the nuances of this bike before trying something like the dragon. Maybe next year I'll be there if all goes well ^_^ It looks like it would be sssssssssoooooooooooooooo much fun.

Hi Rick - how'd you make out?
I'm working on last minute arrangements too. RAT hotel is booked as expected, along with the only other on-line listing I saw for Robbinsville, but I found vacancies at Bryson City Sleep Inn about 30 miles away. Also sent an e-mail to RAT to see about getting in to their events.

Anyone elso going?

I am all set. I ended up getting a room here motel for 35.00 a night. I am going down on Thursday and staying till Sunday. I can't wait. :upthumb:

Also I email rat too. You have to download the flyer off the net and mail it in. It is not too late. And they will not accept credit card payment over the phone. Tried that.

Rick - I really appreciate the info! Bryson City was going to run over $100 a night, but I managed to get a room at the Phillips Motel, and I'm also planning to be there late Thursday.

Now I'm off to priority mail the RAT form.

I'm leaving Wed. AM from central Iowa. Taking the long way there should be there Thur PM or early Friday.

I have a room at the lodge and my buddy backed out at the last minute so there is a spare twin bed if someone is still looking (and doesn't mind snoring).
