Hello all,

I test rode a 2005 Sprint today, and I got to compliment you guys - what a rush! I love the super smooth powerband with no surprises anywhere (well, it pulls super hard after 7,000 RPM), and it really detaches your from the road (I flicked the throttle in 4th and got to 110 with nary a hiccup or jiggle).

I actually should not have test rode the machine, because now, my Thruxton seems awful slow, LOL!

I may have found the bike that is going to replace my V-Star soon....

Take care y'all, I may see you in this forum soon!

I did the VStar conversion myself. No regrets.

I went in to get new tires on my Green Bonny and left with a Blue Sprint. I miss the Bonny sometimes, but not often.

Well, after considering a Kawi ZX-10R and ZX-12R I am dropping the hammer today on a 2005 Sprint ST (non-ABS model).

The thing with the Kawis is that my insurance company quoted me about $2,000 a year for them! The Sprint will only cost me $240 a year - no joke - $240 a year through Farmers.

Wish me luck on the financing!

Good Luck on the financing!

Remember - no more than two fingers on the brake lever!
