I'm taking (riding) the new ST from Iowa to the Dragon Raid this year. My buddy who planned to go backed out.

I've got a room at the lodge and am looking for anyone from the Midwest that might want to ride down together. I know a group from Wisconsin is trailering down, but I'm looking for riders to hook up with.

Should be a good time.

September 23-25. I am leaving on the 21st and taking my time to get down there.

This is talked about as one of the best Triumph get togethers in the World. That part of America has some of the best curves and scenery on the planet too.

Who from this Forum are going?

It's in Robbinsville North Carolina.

Here is the link on the Triumph Us Rat page

Rat Events

Here is a link for all there is to know about the Dragons Tail Besides the 318 curves in 11 miles.

Tail of the Dragon

Staying at the Tapoco lodge which is where the rally official location. I know of a group of guys renting a house with a garage too.

This has been one of Triumphs fastest growing Rallies. I had been on the waiting list for the lodge for about two months.

It's my "long trip" this year.

There are a bunch of us hiding in the corn fields! We are in Waterloo.

My buddy from work and I run the local RAT Pack (since 1998).

We have an active pack. Check Torque for a list of our rides and events.

We are headed to the Triumph Midwest Ride-In in New Glarus, WI this weekend. It is the unofficial replacement for the Galena, IL Midwest Rally.

Here is the info.

Midwest Ride-in

Going to miss the Hawks beating up on the Cyclones

At least I'll be riding and partying with a bunch of Triumph fanatics. :-D
