Hello All,
Got my 05 ST Silver in July and love every second I'm on it. Went out on an all day with two friends (one with an 05 R1 and one with a 03? V-Rod) yesterday on some nice curves. i've only been riding a street bike since I got my Sprint and then only dirt bikes long ago. I was riding caboose in our line up.About half way (10mi.) through the turns I got sick of the hog blatting in my ears so i kicked it down to 3rd and went by the Harley and continued to closely follow my friend on the R1 the rest of the way. At the stop the comment i got from the Yamahauler was " That wasn't a very technical ride"
I'm no expert rider but the 1050 makes me feel very comfortable and makes even sharp twisties effortless.

Glad to be here,
Jeff

Congrats Equinox,
lots of nice people here. You have chosen a great bike, a lot easier ride than your pals R1.
We are very friendly here and sometimes but not very often we act in a normal fashion. :-D

A day in the twisties sounds like a great way to break in bike & rider!
