Not actually got one because I couldn’t get it shipped to the UK but looks the Dog’s Bollocks. And DOES work on 05 Sprint. www.brakeawayproducts.com

I'm sorry but I checked their web site and the applications guide only lists metric cruisers and harley davidson. How do you know which applies to the '05 sprint?

There's an Australian firm now making generic electronic cruise control units for bikes.

TDooley,

Check out my Photo Album (link below) and you'll see the Brakeaway mounted on my '05 Sprint. I can't say enough about how cool this thing is. I had the same unit on my Triumph Speedmaster and transferred it to the Sprint. It is VERY adjustable and fit BOTH bikes perfectly. Can't go wrong.

P.S. The Charlotte RATs meet the first Thursday in every month at a pub in Charlotte, RiRa's...please join us.

My throttle lock is one of my daughter's ponytail elastics. I put it between the grip and the housing. I tried using an o-ring, but felt that the rubber-on-rubber contact had too much friction. The cloth-covered elastic works fine.
I have had the same one on my bike for about two years so far.
It works fine in New England- where are you planning on travelling?
