ANYONE KNOW OF A PLACE TO ORDER THEM FROM OR A PART NUMBER. I JUST PURCHASED A NEW 2003 ST AND AM LOOKING. SOMEONE SAID I COULD FIND THEM ON THE NET; BUT NO LUCK SO FAR. I LIVE IN THE GREAT STATE OF WISCONSIN IF YOU LIKE PAYING HIGH TAXES; THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE. THE ST TOOK THE TWIST OUT OF MY USUAL TWISTIES. WHAT A RIDE! :-D
THANKS HOD

I've seen two popular frame sliders for the sprint st, 1 from skyking, the other by LSL.

skyking frame sliders: http://skykingproducts.com/

LSL Crash pads: http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/...59-LSL-44.html (just one of the places to purchase it from)

TeanTriumph in Wisconson has them. Look them up on the internet at www.rideteamtriumph.com

Talked to a few mates about what they use (R1/CBR600 riders), and they all recommend:

Oggy knobs, an Australian make of frame slider. I'm going to talk to the dealer here and see if they've had any experience with them on Sprints specifically.

Sky King. $85, plus S&H. I bought mine at D&D in Norfolk, VA.

All you need for "Special" tools is an 18" extension, and the big Torx drive to get the OEM bolts out. And, if your arms aren't long enough, an assistant.

You need not take off the side fairings.

I have installed the LSL sliders. I dig the look, and they seem more 'thought out' than the others.
downside - they are more expensive.

What's more thought out about them?

Does anyone know if the blue color of LSL frame protectors will match the Caspian blue of Triumph. I have long legs and the other "Pucks" which I have seen stick out into the already limited space available to me.

Also, what is the full cost of the LSL, I see just one price listed and I doubt that $60.00 is the full cost?

Anyone?
