1999 St rear tire

I am looking for agood tire that I can use all day touring and then take to the track. Any suggestions.

i've heard good things about the metzler z6 road tec tires. that's the one i'm gonna be putting on mine as soon as i get it back to austin.

check out the tyre threads, there's been a lot said about tyres here. I will try to summarise (I am not good at being breif)!

Sport Touring tyre; for mileage and good grip wet & dry;

The most popular seems to be the Metzler Z6 sport tourer possibly followed or maybe equal is the Avon Azaro ST 45/46's

Both these offer excellent grip in all conditions and quite good milage (don't go by my milages as I kill my tyres). :razz:

The most popular "Sports tyre" is most likely the Michelin "Pilot Powers" possibly followed by Pirelli's sports tyre. Mileage will not be as good on the sports tyre. But handling and grip will improve.
