We rode to Glenwood Canyon ( 300+ miles roundtrip) yesterday with the bicyles aboard. Due to time constraints we rode I-70 (yuk)
for half the distance at speeds of 85mph or so. The motorcycles / bicycles handled the windy conditions just fine.

Anyone motorcycling though central Colorado should consider stopping in Glenwood Springs to rent / hire a bicycle for the
spectacular but easy ride through the Canyon. Bring your camera.

The eastern trailhead near Dotsero begins the 30 mile roundtrip through the canyon

Yesterday In the canyon

Having lunch and waiting out the rain in Frisco on the ride home...

Lower Glenwood Canyon a few weeks ago as yesterday I was too busy riding to take many pics.

Can you take some close-up pictures of your rack system? I wonder if a full suspension mountain bike could be hauled around
like that too? Nice cyclocross rig. Carbon fiber?
Here's an earlier thread with pics of my bike rack setup. If you can rest the bottom bracket on the tray, I see no problem with your
bike fitting ok. If not, mount the rear wheel and use a full length tray and it will be fine .... though I don't care for the higher CG
and rear weight of that setup. In the link below I originally used this setup, but later in the thread switched to the current
configuration... much better in the wind.

My CX has an aluminum frame with CF forks and seat post.
