I was wondering if anyone has a copy of the Installation Instructions for the rear luggage rack. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could email or fax me a copy. 203-740-1022 or kpro@snet.net

Thanks,
Ray

I'm located in Brookfield just outside of Danbury. Just got a Green/Silver 2001 Sprint ST in Dec. Looking forward to getting her out on the road.

Ray, I also have a set of instructions that I can fax you if you still need it.

Good luck on the install. I do remember swearing at the instruction writer at Triumph when I installed mine. The instructions SUCK big time.

Before installing, read the instructions and identify parts before starting, maybe you won't get as frstrated as I did.

Plan on at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours as you have tor remove the entire rear body work as well as part of the rear sub frame. But, when it is installed it is SOLID! Should have no problem exceeding the very conservative load rating of 5 KG.

If no one minds saying -- how much cash (US) did you have to lay out for the luggage rack?

That's the silly thing about all the accessory catalogs, there are no prices.

RSRick, Thanks for the offer to get me a copy of the Install Instructions but I did already get a copy from NewmanRS.

My reason for needing them is that I bought my ST with the rack but I believe it was not installed correctly so I hoped to confirm this by reviewing the instructions. It seems like the front mounting holes for the base plate have a large gap to the lower support bracket. I thought maybe a spacer was missing or they need to be tightened more.

Thanks again for the offer,
Ray

I feel your pain. I bought a brand new 03 Sprint ST in December and have only got to put 400 miles on it so far. I will be bringing it in for its 500 mile service then lookout!!! :-D
