Just bought a new '01 Sprint ST and love it! Also just joined the forum and I need some help. There is only one Triumph dealership in Columbus and based on my experience with my other bike (Yamaha V-Star) I don't trust their service at all. I am not a great mechanic (skills are primarily limited to doing the maintenance stuff in the owner's manual). So I need a trustworthy mechanic experienced with Triumphs to do the more sophisticated stuff. If anybody from the central Ohio area (or elsewhere) can give me some help on this, I would greatly appreciate it.

I live not to far from Hinds but I take my Sprint to Joe's Cycle in Dayton. I'm very happy with his service. And he was my dealer...

If you find one let everyone know! I have been doing the scheduled maintenance myself but will use Joe's as well when the time comes.

Unfortunately, I don't have the tools or expertise to do some of the scheduled maintenance myself (e.g, valve clearances), although I would like to learn. In that regard, there is apparently no Clymer or Haynes shop manual for the '01 Sprint ST. Is the only alternative to buy one from Triumph? I have a couple of leads for mechanics experienced in working on Triumphs and will let everyone know if anything pans out.

If you find one, please post it. I'm in Columbus as well. The only good dealers I know of are Joe's in Dayton and North Coast in Rossford (south of Toledo)..

Are you looking for a dealer only type repair like a valve adjustment. Iron Pony can do easy stuff like chain replacements, fork oil, etc...
