I think it's maybe, could be about 118 at the crank or there abouts. TS= How big and heavy are you? How big are your cojones? It will probably take you as fast as you want to go.

The 118HP sounds about right for the stock bike.
Your A8 is faster. As is typical, the bike's power-to-weight is superior to a car, but the aerodynamics are awful.

From memory the TS is listed as about 155mph or 249kph, I think that is from this website:
http://www.carolenash.com/insidebike...st:-sprint-st/
but I wouldn't definitely say that is correct.

Probably, mine with Tune, freer flowing end can and Pipercross filter has done 147 (GPS) with more to come........and that was up a slight incline....
I am only 5' 8, and about 180 though...........

so whats the book speed for this bike? i have read diff write up,s and the speed for a stock bike varies alot, there's no clear definative speed.
i've read 118 bhp several times, so i guess thats right, but i'd like to know whats the official speed is.

Something with
120 BHP and fairly decent (for a Bike) aerodynamics should clip 155......
See my above post.....I was, if I remember about 5-700 revs from red line, so maybe about another 9-10 MPH, which would make 147 (GPS reading) =9+ 154...pretty much bang on.
I have ( in the past) been radared at 156 on my old GPZ900...flat out, that was a supposed 115 crank BHP, and my RF900, coming down the mountain did almost 165..but that was a engine that put out 125 crank in stock tune, this was all in full leathers, as flapping jeans and a windbreaker would knock at least 6-10 mph, off your speed, i would think

I remember reading on some gearing page that my bike was theoretically capable of 167MPH with the stock 19T front sprocket, but limited to 158MPH by aerodynamics. With the 18T, though, it would only 158MPH, limited by aerodynamics to 158MPH. (These figures do not, of course, take my lardacious can into account.)
Cheers,
-Kit

Gearing is going to have a much bigger impact than horsepower.
