The power of Triumph and just a killer deal

A month or so back when I got my Pirelli Angels I had my dad ride my sprint to the dealership for me as I had somehting going on the day I made the appointment for. Ever since he's been talking about getting something like the Sprint. He's always been a big tourer/cruiser guy. He currently has an '02 Goldwing he bought new and now has 160,000 on the clocks. He also has a Hardley Ableson Ultra Glide.

So after riding the Triumph he was talking about it being smooth and a great ride, etc etc. Today he bought a 2000 1200 Trophy. Talk about a killer deal. The bike is a 2000 1200, its got 6900 miles and is pristine except for scratches on the left side box. Its been sitting so it needs new vacuum lines and the carbs gone through, but he got for $1800.00???? I thought I got a great deal on my Sprint, but C'mon. The freaking thing isn't even broke in yet.

Killer deal and a great bike!

Make sure he replaces the carb boots, too. They are bad about dry rot and cracking. For that matter, check all the rubber.

And of course, change ALL the fluids.
