There is a blade connector inside the glove (lockable storage) box, what is it for?

Its to hook up to the triumph diagnostics computer...... for remapping and fault finding etc.....

On older models it was under the seat.

Thanks, that's what I thought. Can I use a standard code reader like for a car? Does it follow OBD or OBD II standards?
