i found out (accidentally) you can change your digital speedo to read in either kilometers or miles. The book doesn't mention it so I had to call Triumph to find out how to reverse it.

Basically, hold your "select" button for 10, yes 10 whole, seconds while on any setting OTHER than "clock" and you'll change the read out

Now I'm off to see the magic 100 mph...I haven't seen this for 30 years.

Oh and I just thought of a naughty application......
for sale RS with only 6,300 on the clock; "hey that's in miles buddy, that's 10,000 kms" ..."oops! sorry". :-D

Yeah - found that out the first time I tried to set the clock. You can have kmH with c (water temp) or kmH with f or MpH with c or MpH with f (it cycles through them if you hold it down). Good times!
