hi, does anyone know how i can have my indicators on as side lights possibly just the front ones? whats needed and is it easy to do?

Are you asking about having the front indicators setup as running lights as well as turn indicators, or adding turn indicators to the side of the bike somewhere?

I had that setup on my previous bike and liked it, but I'm uncertain of how it'd look on the Sprint, since the indicators are up in the mirrors.

It shouldn't be that difficult to do, just have to replace the bulbs with dual filament bulbs, replace the sockets with sockets capable of using dual filament bulbs, and then run a wire from anywhere that's hot with ignition.

Think the most difficult part would probably be finding a dual filament bulb socket to replace the current one and managing to mount it. Not sure how its currently mounted, you'd have to take the lens off and take a look at it to see whether its something that looks doable.

Hi Roger,

As you have the pre 04 ST the blinkers will need rewiring with a double filiment bayonet mount (and wiring) to take the blinker and park/running light setup. The wire pulls through the centre hole on the earlier blinkers as naskie says.

Alternatively you could get LED's (white for park and orange for blinkers) but you would still need to run the wiring through the blinker stalk from the front park light.
