After yet more reconstructive surgery to my right hand , on Sept 16 th, I am advised by my surgeon that I am not allowed to ride again til Feb 2010 ! I feel like my legs have been cut off ! I can only periodcally run the Sprint to ensure the cooling fans remain functional & polish it to death. I have a new chain set ready to be fitted. & I am going to SORN (Suspend from road use) it for December & January. It will have to be retested in Feb as the test certificate has expired. I hope the weather then will be better than 2009.
We had some reallly heavy snow. Not motorcycle weather.
I cannot wait to ride again & hope to do pleanty more RAT runs next summer & meet more Triumph riders. I wish you all a very happy Christmas & prosperous 2010.

Sorry to hear Bonnevillet140v. How will you wave to the Queen at her Christmas message to the masses?

At least there is some consolation that the weather is 5hi77y and riding wouldn't be that much fun anyway!

Sorry to hear it, man. As has been said, at least it's during the Winter months and not during good riding weather.

Thanks RexxyPup. Sounds like a plan. All we need is a decent day. Need to repay your kindness. May even get to Compton Abbas Airfield ? Ring me if you think a Saturday may be suitable.
The Snow we had last Feburary lay between Devizes & Swindon for about 3 weeks in places. Up to a metre deep or more in drifts.
