drag link recall notice

I received my Sprint drag link recall notice this morning directly from Triumph America.
I'm glad to see them going out. They also included a post card to send back if the bike was totaled, stolen or sold.

I'm glad the info is here on this forum, so we can get it fixed MONTHS before the notices are mailed to us!

Drag link recall

I called my local Triumph dealer, for my new to me 07, about this recall. He ordered the parts from Triumph and had them installed three days later. Only needed my Vin number and not any official notice from Triumph to do the work.

I asked the mechanic if I could keep my old drag link, you know, for a keepsake, a paper weight, and I got a resounding NO from him. Proof of performance and all that.
