Triumph made a Triumph part which is a spacer of solid billet aluminium about 30mm high to raise the bars.

Genmar make the identical part and there are other non spacer type solutions like convertibars which means replacing the stock bars altogether.

Another solution is to go for later model ST bars, after the 955's the first '05 1050 bars are much higher and continued to get higher still with the '08 model.

By comparison the 955 stock bars are way lower than the 1050 stock bars.

There may or may not be issues with cable lengths depending on what route you go.

If you do a search you will find a lot of options and information here on this subject.

cheers

Well a local dealer would be my first choice if you do not want or cannot do it yourself (like me)

You could start another thread asking the UK guys who the best dealer nearest your location is that might help.

cheers

I tried the '998cc' / Streetfighter Store (both UK) option for the high bar .LSL' kit and was quite dissapointed with it.

Then priced the later Sprint ST x genmar risers, went with the 1 1'2" risers, and am very happy.....

your mileage may vary...I have ex bike courier /accidents....don't we all have those though!!, neck /upper back issues, where my C1-C6 vertebrae are knackered< technical, UK term>.......so far, though I haven't done many long distances with the Genmar risers fitted, they work a treat.....pre Genmar, I did a mad 24 Hr/2000 mile 'Sprint' on the RS, without too much trouble...but that was pre my latest( hopefully last) major neck cricking accident.

I know you can get Genmar's in the UK......

http://www.zianet.com/GenMar/body.html

links to UK suppliers.......

I was impressed.......fit is not perfect....IE they do look a bit 'blocky'...I guess if you had access to a nice Milling machine you could really make them mm perfect................. but fittings/hardware/instructions were first class!!!
