I purchased a carbon fiber exhaust for my ST as my winter project. It's on, but since we have crappy weather (snow & ice) in PA right now, I haven't had a chance to get to my dealer to get the new tune. Dealer said I can run with out it, but I won't get the full benifit of the pipe. But for how long? I'm going to biek week in 3 weeks, can I use for bike week w/o the tune? Not riding down, trailering the bike. But I'll still put 500+ miles on it in Florida. Anyone have experience with running with the stock fuel map? Thanks.

Remaping is a very easy and quick thing for the dealer to do.
All that happens really is they pop the seat and plug in their gamboy and load the tune in your Sagan. Try it to make sure it works and your done.
I'm not sure of your time frame but it really only takes minutes and if you bought the can from the dealer they should do it for free.

Yep, I've had it done before. My only concern is riding to the dealer. My drive way is a muddy, snowy, icey mess. And my baby is cleaned, waxed, and covered for bike week. Since it won't be above freezing for at least another 5-7 days, riding isn't an option. And my dealer closes at 2pm Sat (winter hours).
