Great View Today
I just moved to Huntsville about two months ago, and I am still learning the area.
I like to go for long rides, and I live in an area, although not rural, it is surrounded by open fields and I need to go over one of two mountains to get to downtown Huntsville (or the main highway).
I always pull out of my development and go right, I always thought left was the end of the road because there are barriers set up as if the road should end. I figured it might be a road to another development, because I have seen a few cars coming from that direction.
I decided to check it out today. I went left out of the development, and found that just around the corner from the barrier is an amazing country back road, that goes for miles and miles. Its full of twists and turns and sweeping hills passing some houses and horse farms.
But, it gets better.
Many miles down the road, i notice a turn that goes uphill, and i mean a very steep uphill. I took the turn. I find myself going up this mountain road, through the woods, with great sweeping curves.
Im passing some really nice houses up on the mountain and came to an open area across from someone's house. I looked over and was amazed at the view.
I turned around raced back home grabbed my camera and raced back.
