How many on this site from the area want to get together and do a ride of between 200-300 miles next sunday....August 2nd. whos in?

I am in. Maybe we should make a more centralized meeting site. Center of Litchfield might be kind of a haul for some folks to do before heading out on a 2-300 miler. Maybe meet up at Gengras?

I'd go if I were closer. Last time I was in that area I rode a bicycle through Washington and got chased by a dog. It's pretty nice up there as I recall!

I would like to be part of this ride, Ric, but I'm going to be in the Santa Cruz, CA area for a four day weekend next week. My college house mates are sponsoring a reunion of sorts and I'm renting a Tiger at Dubbelju in SF, and riding down to Big Sur, my old stomping grounds. I had a place in Garrapata Canyon that I house- sat back in the day, and I have not been back in many years. I've planned stops at Esalen and also Julia Pfeiffer State Park, and then I'll be back in Santa Cruz for the festivities on Sunday, and hope to survive that event for the ride back to the Bay area and my flight back east on Monday. If Jerry Garcia's ghost shows up I may not get out of there in one piece....

Hi Denoose,

Well plan a ride with us at some point this year. My cousin is in Santa Barbara and I know exactly the area you will be riding....great riding area out there. My cousin says rte 33 is the best road in his area..so if you get a chance..thats the road!

Monterey is fantastic. I have raced at the famed laguna seca up the road in salinas. Are you going to check out the track while you are there off rte 68?
