Angry DATATOOL S4 UK model problems

Hi all. This is a question to the UK chaps. I bought my ST in May 09 and had the DATATOOL S4 fitted by the Triumph. From the begining I had problems with this alarm as it was setting itself off while garaged. The dealer took the old system out and replaced it with a new S4. Again in the last few weeks the alarm setting itself off (this morning as 06h30) anyone had simular issues

I had a similar problem with my car alarm a few years ago setting itself off around sunrise. Never could get it fixed, I just traded the car in. Figured it was something to do with the sudden temp changes at that time of the morning as the sun comes up. Try throwing a blanket over the bike overnight to insulate it frm teh sudden temp change and see if that makes a difference:

yes I did after 3 trouble free years with an S3 on my 2004 Sprint ST.

I would be contacting Datatool. I found them very helpful when I had a problem with setting mine up.

By the way this is not just a question for the UK, Datatool is sold worldwide as a Triumph Part.
