My left footpeg has been broken off the bike. I have a new one erdered and on the way, my question is how do you get the pin that supposed to hold the footpeg out?

(When my peg broke, the pin remained. Tthe foot peg was split so it just fell away)

I removed the retention clasp yet I cannot get the pin to come out

any help appreciated!

Would a fine punch or drift with and a hammer sort it?

Good luck,
Dave

I can only access the pin from one direction. I would assume since one side is exposed only thay it should be pulled out. However, I have yanked on it without any luck.
