Hi all,
I'll post the "drama" of a motorcycle shop that said they could fix the idle problem I was having at a later date. I have the tank off now, and cleaned the stepper motor and found and fixed various vacuum problems. I am ready to put the tank back on and I don't know what to connect the fuel pressure regulator hose to. I swear that there was not a hose hooked up to the fuel pressure regulator when I took it off. In fact, I didn't know what it was at the time, but thought it odd that there was nothing connected to it. I took off the two main gas lines, two breather hoses, and a wiring connector. there was nothing....I repeat...no hose hooked to the fuel pressure regulator! What does the fuel pressure regulator on the side of the tank connect to?

Thanks

Stephen

THanks,
Use the search function and plug in 'fuel pressure regulator' or something similar. It sounds like most of the regulators don't need the hose hooked up. Mine never had anything connected to it as far as I can tell.

gee

Digging up ancient posts is fun!

marinerbiker the search thingo is a bit fiddly at times, it seems very specific to things like spelling etc.

Breather hose with one way valve

Does the forward breather hose with a one way valve connect to the airbox? And should the valve open toward the tank? Does the rear breather hose just hang down to nowhere?
Just checking
