Does anybody know if those kiosk's actually collect data or do they just display a number and thats it? Im a IT guy who designs and develops database driven applications and for some reason data gives me a stiffy! I would like to get my hands on some of that data if it exists and graph it, analyze it, make reports, etc., etc.
Whatever gets you excited( ) lol

You do bring up a good point; however, I do not know if the speed data is accumulated or not. 'How' they use this information might get me excited

i did run from a michigan state trooper in my porsche 911 one time after my radar detector went off at 85 in a 55. i saw him and hit the brakes, then the accellerator on a divided highway (he was coming at me). took a 90 turn faster than i had ever done down a little road to the lake michigan beach and stopped, seeing him go by with lights going on the highway. he must have figured an out of state car wouldn't be going down a road to nowhere. it was kind of fun... but i've gone straight since. my rs feels like that car, hunkering down at high speed and slowing down time. j

Don't even think of busting the limits in Vermont. I was on my way back to Montreal after spending a weekend in Boston (I was across in the USA working) and the kind gentleman from the Vermont State Troopery was kind enough to pass a demand for $178.50 to me after he had pointed his gun at me, told me to get back in the car and put my hands on the steering wheel. He explained that you do not get out of the car in the States as we do in the UK and that you do not exceed the stated speed limits at night. Just wish it had been on my Sprint! :brk:
