broken clutch cable

Went for a nice ride on Sunday, fantastic weather (which has been rare here lately) and the dang clutch cable snaps on the engine side. I think I will try the Yamaha cable vs. paying $40 for a Triumph one and go ahead and get a spare like many have suggested.

Just an fyi...the Yamaha cable (Part # 1UY-26335-00-00) fit my '03 perfect. It doesn't have the curved 90 degree bend up by the bars, but I don't think it's necessary anyway.

Big plus is half the cost of Triumph one and in stock at the dealer.

Buy a spare and the one on the bike will never break.

Can I get that in triplicate OnD, I have my spare Yammy one cable tied to the original......

ditto the throttle......but that was a pain in the rear to route along side the old one!!!!!!!!!
