I was aware of the power port on my bike but when I went to use it I noticed it was much different than a standard 12V cigarette lighter port deal as what is in my cage. I haven't gone to pep boys or anywhere like that yet but was wondering what the hell amd I supposed to plug in there? Is there an adapter I can get? I have never seen such a thing and am quite baffled!

You will need accessories with a BMW type plug.

available here.

http://www.2wheelinnovations.com/BMW_Type_Plugs.htm or at other web retailers.

I added a bracket with 2 more outlets to my left rear passenger bracket.

Feel free to send me an e-mail or give me a call if you want help or need some custom cords.

Jay,
I think your only local chance would be either a motorcycle shop or a place that sells big John Deere tractors. You may be able to get a plug from one of these sources and make a short pigtail adapter. One could also mount a conventional 12 volt car outlet in the same place. I bought a stainless steel outlet and mount at a local marine supply store (Boats US) with a rubber plug instead of a flip up door.

There are several adapters for your situation. Any of your John Deere lawn tractor places, BMW motorcycle dealer, your Triumph dealer should have something. Prices vary. Do web searches for the part , check the tech discussion forum here would probably be your fastest resource. AND reply with your results ,to help the next person. Sorry, getting old and can'tremember off the top of my head.
