Hello Everybody,

I have been thinking about buying the new ST, I really like the bike.

The price is a bit steep though, so my question to all ST-05 owners out there is; How much did you pay?

And, does anyone know about a good dealer in NC?

Thanks

Steep?

$11,000 is about the average price for most new litre Japanese bikes. Try looking a the Duc ST's. They're goin for $16,000+.

Your getting a great bike for $11,000! Extremely versatile, sexy and fast. What more could you ask for?

Just my $0.02 worth

Hmm, maybe I mean steep for my budget...

Mainly I am looking for prices actually paid, so that I have something to work with. I talked to a dealer today and it looked like I was able to get one for $11,000 out the door (NC).

I paid just under $13,000 OTD for mine, with the gel seat, hard bags, and shop manual included in that price.

I got the first '05 that came in, the second day it was there. I paid the full $10600, got a slight break on the accessories, but got a _great_ deal on my trade in.

Sad to say, with the demand and the riding season in prime time, you aren't gonna find many deals on the '05 for a while.

I paid the full 10,600 also. My dealer sold 6 in the last month, and has the next two sold also. I always say i will never buy a first year bike.... but I always do.

I was kinda of mad a my dealer, they would not discount the accessories very much for me. 10% only, and that was if I became a Triumph Rat member. I threaten to go somewhere else but the knew that no one else hes the ST for another 100 miles. So I paid out my ass for this bike. I did get a nice 4% APR loan for it!!! :-D

But that was the only good news.

ELG - 11,000 OTD is not bad imho.

Keep in mind if the bike is really popular the dealer has no reason to discount it.

When the Sprints were not selling they discounted them heavily,
I bought a New Unsold 01 model in 03 and practically stole it.

But Currently Sprints, Speed3 ( to name some) are selling faster then they can make them and ship them to the US and worldwide.

I've Heard US Dealers are already being told they won't get any more until next year. ( probably trying to prevent the overstocking issue in the past)
Look at the Tiger, Already sold out and in 2006 production, and you can't get a discount on one, resale value is always high.

The Rocket II may do the same, not sure on the numbers being sold VS Intrest generated.

I can't wait to see what they come out with in 06 as far as a few new rumored models.
