I put my deposit down in December for a silver ST. My dealer got a blue one in March but I'm still waiting. There are other dealers in the area with a silver one but they are too busy selling and servicing custom choppers so I won't buy from them. My dealer is excepting four in all 2 blue and 2 silver.

Is there anyone out there that I can commiserate with?

Why not ask your dealer to do a trade with one of the other shops. Dealers regularly make trades like that.

I took the blue one. I just spoke with Geoff last night and told him I saw a post about someone in the Chicago area waiting on a silver one - he said you have been extremely patient as he tries to track one down. Geoff is a great guy and I hope he tracks one down for you soon - it is a freakin awesome machine. I have owned 7 Triumphs over the past 7 years and this is the perfect machine. Good luck.

Congrats on the new ST!

I was at the shop the day your blue ST came in. I wanted to sit on it and test the ergos. Fit like a glove!
I bought my first bike from Geoff and he (along with his brother and the rest of the staff) is the reason that I am waiting. I like their approach and want to support their shop. Those guys are great and I know they are doing everything they can to get my silver ST to me. I can't say enough good things about the guys at MCC. Meanwhile all I can say is that I am extremely jealous.

I think it's important to be loyal to a shop that you enjoy doing business with. I hope your silver bike comes in soon. I can't decide which color I like the most. I rode a blue 05 on a demo ride and loved it. A great all around bike. The only silver one I have seen was in pictures.
You will be riding soon and what a sweet moment it will be when you first see it and know that it is yous.
