I bought the TuneBoy program last week. Got the stuff in about a week. I downloaded my bike's ecu and emailed it to Wayne, within 4 hours I got my key to unlock TuneEdit, so far so good. The application worked fine until I tried to download the map installed on my bike (2003 SprintST that was uploaded by my dealer last August with the latest Triumph map at that time). After 30 seconds or so I get an error message that the base tune 10152 is not recognized by TuneEdit. I sent Wayne an email Wednesday, he sent me a different TuneEdit application as an attachment. Problem is my ISP at work (also provides my dial-up at home) and they block executable attachments. I replied to Wayne requesting he send them to my alternate email address but he re-sent the attachments to my work email address without extensions Thursday, my ISP blocked that one too. I have been trying to reach Wayne since Thursday with no luck.
OK, finally here is my point..anyone out there have a TuneEdit application that does recognize a 10152 base tune? I have downloaded the TE 2.4 (same as the one on the CD Wayne sent) from the website and it doesn't work either. The website links to the pdf files for documentation are also broken so if anyone has those documents please let me know.
If anyone has the files please send them to me at laseru2@excite.com, this is not my work ISP and I should get them even if you leave all extensions as they are.

Are there enough people here that have TuneBoy to warrant starting our own TB swap thread?

Our own TB forum...Sounds great!

Unfortuately I do not have ready access to a lap top and Wayne has not designed a working program for PDA's (Not to my knowledge anyway).

If I did have Tune Edit, which I will get...eventually, I too would like to se a TB forum.

try t595.net they have a message board for TB and a bunch of maps available - many by Wayne.

Sorry, can't help with your 10152 tune problem but FYI - I'm running a slightly modified version of the "PK Touring" tune (10130 base tune) which is available on T595 (free d/l) and IMHO it is outstanding! I have excellent throttle response (no more choppy slow and steady school zone speed issues), great power, and on the last two high speed long distance weekends (1410 & 460 miles) I avg'ed 45-47 MPG.

PK also has a "Power Tune" listed but I have been so happy with the "Tour" tune that I have not tried it yet. Nice thing is that it takes longer to remove the bag and the seat to get to the cable than it does to completely change the feel of the bike with a new tune. The driveability improvements to my bike from using TB make it easily the best money I have spent.

If you are just hung up waiting to modify your existing 10152 tune I would skip it and download one of these dyno tested, street tested, existing tunes and press on. The factory tunes all seem to be too lean anyway.

Hope you get it figured out. I had to fiddle with mine for a while before I got TB working and when I finnaly did get a tune loaded it was like I bought a new bike.

Yes, a TB thread would be a welcome addition.

Good news, :-D heard from Wayne last night, he sent me a link to a different version of TE and it works fine. I just wanted to have a copy of the tune in the bike before I went messing with anything. Wayne is working on a skins based version of TB that really looks nice with a virtual dash that will look just like the dash on your bike. I can envision skin swap as well as tune swap threads in the near future. BTW, I have stock air filter and stock can. :-D
