Anybody got any comments about and/or photos of their ST with a double bubble windscreen? I'm thinking of getting a Zero Gravity double bubble for my ST & wanted to hear some comments.

Thanks,
Rob

I like mine. It provides a touch more protection than the stock shield. It also, for me, has provided slightly less turbulence too. I got a good deal on mine when I ordered it from kneedraggers.com. You might want to check their prices if you order from them. I've bought a few things from them, and their service has been very good.

I thought I had a pic, but don't. I'll see if I can get one posted, unless someone else beats me to it.

IMHO the Z/G screens are pretty chintzy. Very thin and brittle.
I got a MRA which I still am glad I bought after 2 years. Especially after hitting a vulture at 45mph. The bird hit the screen solid and bounced up. I did get hit but on the top of the helmet. If it was a Z/G screen there is no doubt in my mind I would have had a chest full of broken plastic and a damned big and ugly bird in my lap wondering what the heck was going on.

Not a scratch on the screen from the bird hit or from 2 years of cleaning. Nor is there any hazing or swirl marks.

Again IMHO the cost for quality is pretty cheep and these MRA screens are works of art. I bought three and after trying them I settled on the Racing (D/B), my dealer wanted the other two so I sold those to him. He replaced the Z/G screen on his personal ST which was cracking in the mounting holes.

Just my $.02

You can see a pic in this thread.

Double bubble

I can't compare it with other screen since I did not ride the St on the stock screen. Did my last 3 years of riding with a double bubble and did not wat to change that. No turbulence.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.

I decided to go the cheeper route for now & get the Zero Gravity double bubble from KneeDraggers. I liked the look of the ZG better than the MRA, also.

There are a couple more photos in my album if you want to see a close up view. Got mine on eBay from the Zero Gravity Outlet, and I like it fine.

Kneedraggers gave me great service, I hope they do the same for you. When I ordered my ZG from them, they didn't have it in stock. They called me and emailed me to let me know that it would be on back order and if this was ok. I was very impressed.

Does the MRA provide better wind protection than the ZG?
