I received my Cee Bailey's Euro top 16.5" windscreen today. I must say that I was not overly impressed with my experience. I contacted Cee Baileys after waiting two weeks and never receiving a shipping notification (website says 7-10 days). They were very responsive once I contacted them and followed up with an email and phone call.
My screen arrived today and it took a good 25 minutes to install. It could be partially to the thickness of the shield (seemed to be 2x the thickness of my zero gravity db), but the holes didn't line up exactly right. I had to put the nylon screws in multiple times to get everything to line up just right. I finally achieved this and hopped right on the bike for a short scoot.
I must say that there does seem to be less buffeting than my Double-bubble (I am 6'2"). I did notice road noice but I don't know that it was any worse than my other shield. I stopped after a five miles or so and put in my earplugs and everything was better. It is not "The Answer" as others have posted here, but it seems like it will help on chilly/rainy days. It really makes the bike look more touring oriented which I don't mind. Overall, I would say it is worth purchasing and give it a thumbs up.

What led you to choose that particular model?
I have been considering a Cee Baileys (not sure which height that I want) along with the MRA Touring shield.
I am 6'2" also and considering getting some Gen-Mar risers, do you have risers installed? If so, where does the wind seem to hit you?

I'm 6'4" and just replaced the triumph touring screen with the Cee Bailey 16-1/2" Euro cut. It is a world of difference compared to the triumph screen. Almost no buffetting, just wind... you want buffeting try the triumph touring screen... ugh..
That said.. there is no cone of silence either... I like the look, but am thinking I'll have to try that massive plank of a windshield to get full wind blast protection, but I may be able to live with this one.
Our bikes are not meant for people as tall as we. A distinct advantage to being 5'9"...

At 5'8" the CB is almost a "Cone of Silence" for me....but I can feel the wind hit the top of the helmet if I sit up straight, so I can acknowledge that the tall guys might not love this screen as much as I do. The Triumph Touring Shield was miserably wrong for me....buffeting and bugs right into the face shield. Where the CB works really well for me is in the rain. The drops run more sideways than up, and I stay pretty dry. BTW I do have the GenMars...

I installed the Genmars yesterday, so the commute to work today was my first ride with them. They definately make the reach not as far. The reach wasn't bad to begin with, I was just wanting to be a bit more comfy. I haven't really noticed the wind noise to be more pronounced w/ the genmars vs. without.
I chose the 16.5" Euro after reading multiple message boards and most people saying that they really like that particular model. I didn't particularly like the look of the 22", but part of me wishes I would have tried it. After my commute in today, I think that the cee bailey's is definately louder than my zero gravity double bubble. I am going to ride with it for a while, but anything over 45 mph seems to generate a significant amount of noise.

I've noted less wind noise with the 16.5"CB than with the triumph touring screen.. I do note that if I stand up into "clean air" there is a considerable reduction in noise.. that said, the air has to go somewhere when it gets pushed out of the way... it does it in part by speeding up, which I assume is what creates all the added noise.. would the noise of the blast at 50, be the same as the standing up noise at 70?... not that I intend to stand up at 70, it was just a thought...
cheers...
anyone have a plank they want to sell?

Unwilling to accept this road noise will be the norm, I ordered the Saeng Edging to try and see if that will help eliminate it. I will give an update after it arrives and I try it out.
