Suspension set up for 160lb rider...

I didn't get a manual with my "new" bike. What does the low/high indicate on the shock? Right now mine's turned all the way out to what looks like full low. What does that mean? Do I want to be more toward the low setting when I'm carrying a load?

Does anyone have their stock suspension what they would consider "dialed in" for a 160 lb. rider? In general I'm pretty bad at suspension, but I feel that the bike's a bit squishy, and I was getting a decent amount of wallowing in quick right/left/right transitions. I need to set my sag, etc., but I was thinking that it would be easy to adjust my settings to the same places that someone else my weight has already determined to be optimal. I realize that things won't be exactly the same, but it will give me a place to start.

Could someone please either post or point me toward an online diagram that shows where the adjustable settings are and what they adjust? (which is rebound and which is compression? )

Hey Spyda, you can download an owners handbook from Triumph website. Its not a workshop manual but will show you where the adjusters are and give you factory settings.

Also keep a look out for a local 'suspension clinic' - azsportbikerentals one of our local stores has one about every month.

I just went and had my Sprint done today - For $30 they measure the front and back height, etc both with you on and off of the bike and then adjust everything the best they can to suit you as well as making any recommends for future upgrades.

Bike felt great on the way home - going for a pack ride tomorrow, so will know more then; but others swear by it - so just a thought if you have somewhere local that offers something similar.
