2 Day mini trip to the high desert! Mojave, Tehachapi, Johannesburg, CA

Left late afternoon Thursday 2-19 and stayed in mojave, cruised all around the area, had a great time.

Needed to get out of So Cal for a day...

Enjoy the photos, I didn't crash this time

Cool pics, especially the one in the motel room!

Good to hear there weren't any mishaps either.

Very nice pics - excellent idea sticking the bike in the room with you!

The bedspread matches the bike! (Forgot to check the drapes)

Surprised you got rid of your side luggage if you take trips like this...

Thanks for sharing, Kory! Nice pictures. I agree, sticking your bike in the room, good idea!
That must have been a bit tricky though. Never have thought of it whenever I travel away from home. With my luck they'll prolly be a few step ups to get in the way of a smooth roll in.

I still have them, just knew I'd be lane splitting at some point so I wanted to make sure my bike was as low profile as possible.

I really didn't need them anyways, I packed a change of clothes, toiletries, a rain suit, warm layers ( it got REAAAALY cold in tehachapi at 10pm! ) and food all in that top box.

In the tank bag were simple things like: hat, ipod, phone, wallet, keys, minitripod, camera, snacks.

Worked out really well for a quick two day jaunt.

Hey Kory, that's what the "Do Not Disturb" sign is all about, right?. I think we'd all agree the Sprint ST is one good-looking machine. Great pictures and looks like a great ride as well (on the road I mean).
