I have one from my last sprint and am about to have a second one. Any chance of offloading this on ebay or something? How much can I expect to get for it?

There are a couple on ebay right now from salvage dealers so you can check to see what they're getting. One guy from this forum wanted one a while back to gut it and make a custom exhaust so you never know. But ordinarily, I don't expect there's much of a market for one.

I would list it. If I was selling my bike I would probably buy a stock exhaust to replace my Tridents. I would probably sell the Trident separately. (I threw the stock exhaust away because I did not want it taking up space in my small garage.)

theres regularly 2-3 stock exhausts (mainly mufflers) on ebay at any one time.
seems new owners are over eagre to fit the TOR, or aftermarket systems once the 1st 500 miles is on the clock. then theres dealers who are breaking salvage.

Personnelly I picked up a spare stock muffler a while ago for £20 GBP + shipping

Maybe its something to do with the intial breaking in process.
Tbh I`m not sure, I`m synical but the re-sale ads I`ve encountered claim that the muffler has only been used for the 1st 500mls before being swopped out. and the spare 1 I have is in near mint condition

Yes there is a market for them. 25 cents a pound at the metal recycler.

There really isn't much of a market for them. I sold mine on ebay, and only got one hit. Guy got a great deal though.

Why 500 miles?

That's about the time you figure out that your Sprinty came with heated seats.

Especially if it's during July or August.

You heard the rumor, ignored it, but at 500 miles, you are convinced!

The TOR is the cheapest way to cool the bustard!
