With a RS it is only a matter of pushing a button.
Below the display screen are two buttons....select and reset...for use primarily in resetting the tripometers or changing the clock but if you hold just the select button in for 5 seconds, it switches from mph to km/h.

Yeah, what Saigon5 said. Note that there are options for changing the water temp from degrees F to C along with the MPH vs KPH changes. So watch that as well as the speedo is cycling through the options.
