I've just finished mounting a new Scorpion high mount can on the bike. Looks quite good, although I have a problem with the indicators. Even little ones will be hard to fit. I've made a new hole for them a little further towards the back of the bike to remount the originals or little ones instead.

The can looks good and is supposed to run with stock settings. It has the removable baffle and marked road legal. The markings stay when you remove the baffle ;-)

I haven't ridden the bike, but a quick test in the garage tells me that it will sound a lot better - deeper with the baffle still in.

I'm willing to post a picture tomorrow if someone would help with hosting and posting it please.

Hi

The cost was about £180 in the UK including postage to UK address. They claim a very small gain with the baffle in which you can remove with an allen key. They sound a bit deeper and louder than stock. From my experience with a previous bike they sound lovely with the baffles removed! I used to set car alarms off with the two on my old XJR 1300!

So far I've only had a quick ride with the baffles in and found that the power delivery is very smooth with the old dip around 3000rpm now gone.

To me the notable gain is mainly in the looks department, no longer hiding the single swing arm. Also wanted to have the the road legal markings rather than the "not for road use".

They do carbon ones too...
