I noted this on the Adjure headlights post/link...but perhaps it needs to have its own major posting.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

With all the folks buying new trinkets for their scoot -- it might be advantageous to perhaps post the potential new item that will be bought and see if many others would buy it too.

Thus, the person in contact with the manufacturer might have some pull to get the price down per unit because of a larger group purchase of the same article. (*Everybody wins - no??*)

I've done this with an Autocom dealer and some other odds n ends on my K12RSA...might be a consideration for the next big thing we all want.!!

Your Thoughts...??

Tag - you're IT..

Not sure how to manage this thread, hANNAbONE, but here is the list that I am shopping for (2002):

- Frame sliders
- Rear hugger
- Undertail (possible)
- License plate/signal relocation kit
- Sargeant seat

Question (for anybody): Can a hugger for a 595 or 509 be used on a 2002 995?

I am talking with Jardine about their aluminum hi-mount exhaust. I found a dealer who will sell them for $275 plus shipping. I am waiting to hear back from Jardine re: whether the pillion footpegs will be usable, or if they supply an adapter; and if they can provide a fuel map or if the TOR map will work. If I get these issues resolved, I am going to order one. Anyone interested in trying to get an even better price?

Dan

Capt - I have brand new Sky King Billet Aluminum sliders I would consider selling. Let me know if you're interested.

Hell, I'm interested even at $275!! Anything else would be gravy to me. Keep us informed on this (or at least me).

BTW, there's only been six people interested so far in the brake reservoir, so I'm going to let that go.

redsled . . . the cost is $274.99 at starcycle They quoted me 28 bucks to ship to NY. It's a very nice deal, IMO. According to Jardine, you can keep the passenger pegs.

I'm interested in getting a set of voice coms that have the integrated plugs for phone and MP3 player.

I also want to get an undertail kit to copy in carbon fiber.

Hell, I'm interested in a looong list of goodies to buy so just post up and I'll reply if something on the list interests me.

Definitely interested in getting a set of really nice adjustable clip-ons to swap out and play on from time to time when the regular bars get dull.
