Took my 03 S3 for its annual service today (in the pouring rain!!). I mentioned the fact that the front tyre was regularly loosing pressure when the bike was stood in the shed, and asked the technician to take a look as I couldn't find any puncture, leaking valve etc.
What he found was a "hole" in the rim!!! Air bubbling happily THROUGH the flat of the rim near the centre line!!
Scary or what.
New rim en route under warranty, and got to borrow a Bonnie in the meantime: I WON'T be buying one of them I'm afraid, but thats another story.
