Rizoma rearsets are the cats teets! They have individual components that can be replaced if you crash...as opposed to having to replace the whole rearset. They are Italian so you should be able to get them over on your side of the pond.

However, if i were you, I'd at least contact www.pjsparts.com and see what they can do. They get pretty dam good deals on Rizoma stuff! Maybe they can waive the shipping fee and have it sent to you directly while still in Europe prior to coming to the USA.

Paige and PJ are top notch people!

It's the Franzen / Sport Evolution "Triple X" special build from 2008. I guess the owner got bored with the claimed 180hp+ power, as the bike is up for sale now:

I have Valter Moto 3.5 rear sets. Rizoma is nice, but would not call them top notch. Valter Moto offers 3 different models for all applications including different colors.

Check them out www.valtermoto.com

Got them here www.italianmotostyles.com and are now available for the 2011 as well.

I'd like to know how to get 180 HP out of the Speed Triple.

What do you think Martin?

Apparently by exchanging all the internals to higher quality items, working the head and by revving the nuts off the motor:

I'm sure that with OEM internals the engine would grenade about 1500rpm lower already.

Not really feasible for us mortals. I think the bike was originally done for Hein Gericke's son (born rich), so they did not have to take any financial limitation into account. I mean if you want that kind of high-rev power, you will get it more realiably and much cheaper by purchasing one of the supersports of today.

+1 on the valter moto, they are the cheapest rearsets out for the speed triple. I can't give any info on reliability or fit and finish, as i don't have a set yet. But when i decide to change out the rearsets ( Left side was broke and tig welded when i bought it ) i will be going witht the valter moto set
