Installed my Rizoma grips a few weeks ago and have been pretty happy with them. Surprisingly comfortable for metal grips. Altho I suspect they may be a bit taxing on a full day ride.

Anyway, curious which throttle gear other S3 folks used on installation? I tried the 4 stroke one first and it didn't seem right, then put in the 1/4 one (I think) and its seemed a better fit. Throttle is definitely snappier and I'm not sure I like it. Might try the 4 stroke one again. Maybe I just didn't have it lined up or something. I seem to remember it binding when I tightened everything down.

When I changed mine out, I just matched up the old one I pulled off with the ones that came with the grips, and installed that one.

Thats what i did also! I have the Rizoma Bar 22/29 ,Risers 42mm ,Grips and Bar ends on my FZ1-N and love them! i also have the radial naked mirrors Sweet :~)

I figured the guys at the factorys did there home work and gave us the Throttle gear that works best so i just matched it and all is good!

I bought all My Rizoma stuff from PJ's parts.com , PJ & Paige are great to order from!

Yes, thats pretty much what I did too. Just wondering if any of the other throttle pieces work and give the bike a bit different personality. Anyway..
