Throttle Locks?

I'm a new S3 owner who's been riding cruisers with throttle locks for the past few years. They give an old guy like me a rest on highway rides.
Are there any available for this bike? Does anyone have one installed?
Also, I picked up a pair of Progrip gel grips, but it looks like I may have trouble getting it on the throttle side. Has anybody installed these on his or her bike? Any tips?
Are there any particular brands of gel grips that work well on these bikes?
Thanks for any advice.

We will probably get flamed here but I put this on my bike, an '07. A bit expensive but I feel like it's the best outside electronic cruise. Sure gives the 'ol hand a rest....

A cheap way to get a throttle lock is to get an o-ring and put it between the grip and cable housing. No off setting though.

1. I was looking at throttle locks at the beginning of the summer. I ran out of time and ended up picking up a crampbuster instead. It's still on the bike and I believe it's the best 11 bucks I've spent on any motorcycle accessory. Easy to put on (and remove if necessary), and helps a ton on long rides. I did an IBA the day after and had more problems w/ my left hand than my right during the ride.

2. I put a set of the gel grips on my 919. Cut the old ones off, squirt a tiny bit of dish soap and rub around the inside of the gel grip. They should slide on quite easy, then the soap will help glue them in place. A little trick I picked up when I was slaving away for my dad pulling wire through long conduit runs.

What the heck is with this idea of cutting grips off? It could be easily done without this, 2 minutes job. Lift the edge of grip, slide the little tube on WD-40 can under as far as it goes and squirt while pulling back. Twist the grip and remove it. Then wipe off and clean surface off oil, use Windex to squirt inside the new grip and slide it on.
Done this many times. I know people who bought second hand bike with non-stock grips, hate them and want back to OEM. Sell yours on e-bay, make them happy.

I never said it was a best practice, but it worked for me...

I'll try not to anger the motorcycle gods the next time I do a grip swap.
