1. I was looking at throttle locks at the beginning of the summer. I ran out of time and ended up picking up a
crampbuster instead. It's still on the bike and I believe it's the best 11 bucks I've spent on any motorcycle accessory. Easy to put on (and remove if necessary), and helps a ton on long rides. I did an IBA the day after and had more problems w/ my left hand than my right during the ride.
2. I put a set of the gel grips on my 919. Cut the old ones off, squirt a tiny bit of dish soap and rub around the inside of the gel grip. They should slide on quite easy, then the soap will help glue them in place. A little trick I picked up when I was slaving away for my dad pulling wire through long conduit runs.
