Craaaaaaap

A week ago I'm at the track (Thunderhill), passing someone on turn 2, another dude pulls a bone headed move and tries to pass me at the same time (!), slams on the brakes cause he's going in too hot, I hit his rear tire, wobble off the track, low side. Was pissed off, whatever, I'm over it.

Fast forward to today, repairing the bike, got it on it's front stand, backing the bike out of the garage to wash all the dirt off it and start repairs. I do it on my own, not thinking stability will be too much of an issue. Hit a bump on the drive way on my front stand, tips the bike just a tad, and it falls over! OK, not a big deal, I got this humongous thing that sticks out a mile on the right side I paid $100+ for - the Skyking frame slider. Pick up the bike, whatever, then notice... my rear set is broken!!!

CRAAAAAP! After all I've been through, picking up the pieces and buying parts online and around town, this BS thing happens. Triumph dealership quotes $90, for a lousy bracket! Uggg, it's on order now

Anyways, hopefully everything arrives on time. I got another track day in about a week. This time, I'll have a set of Suburban Machinery SV type 2 bars, along w/ GSXR 1000 radial master cylinder + calipers. Sadly, my front fairing won't be making it as the tabs broke from last weekend...

btw: used S3 aftermarket is terrible. None of the scrap yards have this stuff, and eBay has some people selling things for same as new! For times like these, I actually wish I had a gsxr...

If anyone knows of a good source of Triumph used parts, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks

Lol, sounds like my type of luck.

No worries on the broken fly screen. It wont fit anyway with the giant radial GSXR master cylinder, and SM bars.

Well it will fit, but you have to cut a bunch of the fairing away on the bottom.

Else when you go to turn sharp in a parking lot with out trimming the fairing, the gsxr master cylinder gets caught in the fairing, and you could drop the bike. (dont ask me how I know this.)
